NFTs play a role in the staking system by providing a multiplier effect on Bacon rewards. This multiplier is determined by several factors, including the Rarity Score of the NFT, the timing of its minting (with early minters receiving a higher bonus), and the total number of NFTs held by the user. The multiplier effect ranges between 1.1x to 1.5x on top of the existing Fofar Staking Program rewards emissions of Bacon.
Certain traits within minted NFTs will unlock exclusive in-game benefits. These can include power-ups, unique skins, or access to premium game modes. Additionally, players with specific traits may gain early access to new content.
NFTs serve multiple functions within the Platform:
Profile Customization: Players can use their NFTs as profile pictures, contributing to viral marketing.
Trading and Speculation: NFTs can be traded on secondary markets, allowing players to speculate on their future value based on rarity and demand.
Event Access: NFTs may also serve as tickets or passes for special events, tournaments, or beta testing, offering exclusive participation opportunities.
Community Voting: Certain NFTs could grant players voting power in community-driven decisions, influencing the future direction of the Platform.
As the Platform evolves, the utility of NFTs is expected to grow, offering ongoing benefits and rewards to long-term holders.
