The Bacon token begins as a centralized points system within the Platform, offering players the ability to earn and use Bacon through various activities. These points are essential for engaging with the Platform's ecosystem, offering rewards and utility across features.
Earning Bacon Points: Before any potential transition to Layer 2 (L2), Bacon operates as a centralized points system.
Proposed Airdrop and Transition to Layer 2: The Platform is considering a future transition to a decentralized L2 protocol, where Bacon Points would be converted into L2 Bacon tokens via an airdrop. The details surrounding the airdrop, including eligibility and timing, will be determined at a later stage, contingent on various factors, including compliance with all regulations.
Early Adopter Participation: Early participants in the centralized Bacon Points system may receive additional incentives if the L2 transition is realized, subject to regulatory compliance.
Staking Rewards: During the centralized phase, players who stake Fofar tokens will earn Bacon Points at a fixed rate.
55% User Rewards: In the proposed L2 transition, a significant portion of the total Bacon supply is envisioned to be allocated for user rewards. This allocation covers earnings from tournaments, social media challenges, gameplay achievements, and referrals, reflecting the contributions made during the centralized phase.
